🏁 Race Details

• Race Type: This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant. Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort.
• Participation: Running or walking is acceptable. No animals and bicycles on course.
• Proceeds: A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.

📅 Day of Registration & Packet Pick Up

• Pre-registration: Pre-registered participants can pick up race packet on Nov. 25th, 12pm-6pm at the Racquet Park conference room.
• Race Day: Packet pickup will take place on race day at race site from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
• Schedule: 6:30 a.m. – Registration Opens
  8:00 a.m. – 5K Race Start
  8:45 a.m. - Fun Run - no chip timing
  9:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

🏆 Awards

Race charms for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+.

Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race starts and ends at the same location.

⏱️ Timing & Scoring

Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
• Timing Method: The race uses an electronic timing system with a transponder chip that will be given out at registration. Official times will not be recorded without a chip.
• Registration Materials: Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. for all participants.
• Results: Official results are provided by QR code for the top runners in each category, and results are posted on the race website.

🐾 Pets & Strollers

• Dogs: Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course.
• Strollers: Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority, but please start in the later part of the runners.

💧 Water Stations

Participants should bring their own water, but there will be a water station on the course as well at the finish.

💰 Refund Policy

We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds.

🌧️ Weather Policy

The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

🏅 Awards Ceremony

An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.
