Race Details

• Type: This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park.
• Course: Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort.
• Participation: Running or walking is acceptable. No animals and bicycles on course.
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.

Registration & Packet Pickup

• Pre-registration: Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packet on Nov. 26th, 12pm-6pm at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup will take place on race day at the race site from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
• Day of Event Schedule:
• 6:30 a.m. – Registration Opens
• 8:00 a.m. – 5K Race Start
• 8:45 a.m. - Fun Run - no chip timing
• 9:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

Awards

• Top Finishers: Race charms for top overall male and female.
• Age Groups: Top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards.
• Categories: Age groups include from 10 & under to 85+.

Parking

• Availability: Parking is plentiful next to the race start location.
• Location: The race starts and ends at the same location.

Timing & Scoring

• Method: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided.
• Chip Location: The chip will be attached to the back of the bib.

FAQ

• Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
• Timing System: The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip.
• Results: Official results are provided by QR code and posted on the race website.
• Participation Rules: Pets are not allowed, but strollers are welcome.

• Weather Policy: The race is a "rain or shine" event. Dress appropriately for the weather.
• Post-Race: An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.
