🌳 Race Details

• Type: This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant.
• Scenery: Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort.
• Participation: Running or walking is acceptable. No animals and bicycles on course.
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.

📅 Registration and Packet Pickup

• Pre-registration Pickup: Participants can pick up race packets on Nov. 26th, 12pm-6pm at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day.
• Day of Registration: Packet pickup will take place on race day at the race site from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 6:30 a.m. – Registration Opens
• 8:00 a.m. – 5K Race Start
• 8:45 a.m. - Fun Run - no chip timing
• 9:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

🏆 Awards

Race charms for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

🚗 Parking Information

Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race starts and ends at the same location.

⏱️ Timing and Scoring

Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

• Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
• Timing Method: The race uses an electronic timing system that requires a transponder chip.
• Results: Official results are provided by QR code and can also be found on the race website.
• Assistance: Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.

🐾 Pets and Strollers

• Dog Policy: No pets allowed on the course for safety reasons.
• Stroller Policy: Yes, you can participate with a stroller: please start in the later part of the runners.

💧 Water and Refunds

• Water: Bring your own water, but there will be a water station on the course and at the finish.
• Refund Policy: We cannot issue refunds: your registration is appreciated.

🌧️ Weather Policy

The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

🏅 Post-Race Activities

An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.
