Race Details

• Type: This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant.
• Course: Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort.
• Participation: Running or walking is acceptable. No animals and bicycles on course.
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA.

Day of Registration & Packet Pickup

• Pre-registered Pickup: Available on Nov. 25th, 12pm-6pm at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day.
• Race Day Pickup: From 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at race site.

• 8:00 a.m. – 5K Race Start
• 8:45 a.m. – Fun Run - no chip timing
• 9:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

Awards

• Top Finishers: Race charms for top overall male and female
• Age Groups: Top 3 male and female in age groups will receive awards.
• Age Categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

Parking

• Availability: Parking is plentiful next to the race start location.
• Location: The race starts and ends at the same location.

Timing & Scoring

• System: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

• Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
• Timing Method: The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip that will be given out at registration.
• Results: Official results are provided by QR code, staff has all results for on-site inquiries, and results are posted on the race website.
• Emergency Assistance: Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.

Participation Guidelines

• Pets: Sorry, we do not allow pets on the course.
• Strollers: Yes, we allow strollers. Please start in the later part of the runners.
• Water: Yes, bring your own water, but there will be a water station on the course and at the finish.
• Refund Policy: We are unable to issue refunds and cannot credit your credit card or issue checks.

Weather Policy

• Event Status: The race is a "rain or shine" event.
• Attire: Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard, so please do not bring them.

Post-Race Information

• Awards Ceremony: An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.
