Race Details

• Type: This time chipped race will start and finish at Omni Amelia Island Resort Racquet Park, located next to the Verandah restaurant.
• Route: Enjoy a scenic run, meandering through the beautiful, tree-canopied resort.
• Participants: Running or walking is acceptable.
• Restrictions: No animals and bicycles on course.

Day of Registration & Packet Pickup

• Pre-registration: Participants can pick-up race packet on Nov. 26th, 12pm-6pm at the Racquet Park conference room and on race day.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup will take place on race day at race site from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Day of Event Schedule

• Registration Opens: 6:30 a.m.
• 5K Race Start: 8:00 a.m.
• Fun Run: 8:45 a.m. - no chip timing.
• Awards Ceremony: 9:00 a.m.

Awards

Race charms for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include:

• Categories: 10 &: under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

Parking

Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race starts and ends at the same location.

Timing & Scoring

Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

• Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.
• Timing Method: The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip.
• Results: Official results are provided by QR code for the top runners, and results are posted on the race website.
• Transfers: You can transfer your entry: please email shayne.meyers@omnihotels.com.

Additional Information

• Medical Assistance: Qualified emergency medical professionals are available at the start/finish lines.
• Pet Policy: Sorry, pets are not allowed on the course.
• Strollers: You can participate with a stroller, but please start in the later part of the runners.
• Refunds: We are unable to issue refunds.

Weather Policy

The race is a "rain or shine" event. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Post-Race

An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.
