About this race
Event Overview
The Cincinnati Cyclones are proud to present the Frozen 5K/10K to benefit the Cincinnati Cyclones Foundation. Each year, thousands of brave runners take to the streets in support of youth hockey programs in our community. Our unique race takes you on a course along the Banks of the Ohio River and through Cincinnati’s Transit Center underneath second street! Join Twister, Puckchop, and thousands of other brave souls as we support the Cincinnati Cyclones Foundation in the process!
Participant Benefits
- Long Sleeve Tech Shirt: Every participant will receive a comfortable tech shirt.
- Finisher Medal: All finishers will be awarded a medal commemorating their achievement.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will occur at the following times and locations:
- Thursday, February 4: 10am - 8pm at Tri-State Running Company (Edgewood, Mariemont, and Florence)
- Friday, February 5: 10am - 6pm at Tri-State Running Company (Edgewood, Mariemont, and Florence)
- Saturday, February 6: (Race Day) 7am - 8:50am at Heritage Bank Center (see below)
Race Timing
Race starts at 9:00am SHARP. The Start Line is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Heritage Bank Center.
Awards
Awards will be given to:
- Overall Winners: Male and Female Overall in both the 5k and 10k categories.
- Age Group Awards: Following the overall awards, age group awards will be presented.
- 5k and 10k Age Groups: F 1-14, F 15-19, F 20-24, F 25-29, F 30-34, F 35-39, F 40-44, F 45-49, F 50-54, F 55-59, F 60-64, F 65-69, F 70+
- Male Age Groups: M 1-14, M 15-19, M 20-24, M 25-29, M 30-34, M 35-39, M 40-44, M 45-49, M 50-54, M 55-59, M 60-64, M 65-69, M 70+
