Holiday Tutu Trot- Fun Walk/Run Under the Holiday Lights at Krug Park

Do you love the Holiday Lights at Krug Park? Of course, you do! We all do! This event is an untimed (no race/run bibs or timing chips will be included) fun walk/run under the holiday lights at Krug Park. This is a family friendly event; even Santa 🎅 said he wanted in on the fun! Bring your Christmas lists kiddos! He will collect them at the start line! Line-up will start at 4:33-4:45PM at the park entrance where hot cocoa will be served, and all participants will receive a festive Tutu. We encourage you to arrive at 4:15PM to get extra time for pictures with Santa and get your Tutu & Cocoa. The Hazels Coffee Bago will also be onsite selling festive holiday drinks and lattes. The walk/run will start at 5:00PM CST sharp. The course will navigate the main roads of Holiday Park, which is approximately 1.5 miles long. All walkers and runners will have one hour to complete the course. All participants must be clear of the course by 6:00PM CST, as the park will open to visitors in vehicles at that point in time. This event is capped at 500 registrants for safety concerns. 

Back by popular demand! Add Cinnabon packs to your entry! The proceeds from these sweet treats will of course go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and our overall fundraising goal! They will be available for pickup at the start/finish line of the event. We do have to clear the entry to the park before 6:00PM, so please make sure to pick your order up immediately after finishing the event. 

 

Four local runners from The Measly Mile Mafia are raising money for St. Jude’s Children's Hospital as St. Jude Heroes. This event will serve as fundraising for their St. Jude Heroes Campaign. Their researchers and doctors work together to turn laboratory breakthroughs into lifesaving treatments for children from across the United States and around the world. Please park in the lower southwest side lot using the access entry of off St. Joseph Avenue and/or street parking. Do not block any driveways, streets, or residents homes please. Parking will be limited and will be first come first serve. Carpooling is recommended. The main entry to the park will be closed.

 

This is an all-weather event since it's a holiday light walk/run. We will not cancel this event unless the weather causes dangerous conditions. This is an outside bundle up in your ski clothes special kinda night!

 

Participants will receive a festive Tutu, a Cherry Mash compliments of Chase Candy Company, Hot Chocolate compliments of Hazels Coffee Company, and an awesome finishers medal. 20 reduced cost spots are available for those registrants who would prefer last years medal. We will not order any additional 2023 medals.
