Dust off your cape and join us! You do not want to miss this race!

But do NOT miss this RUN!

SUPERHERO 1K &: 5K and even a 10K for those heroes who can go the distance!

The Attic Resource Center is hosting this fun run for the entire community! Dress up as your favorite SUPERHERO and help us celebrate all the heroes of our community who help with the foster crisis.

🎗️ Race Beneficiary

The Attic Resource Center, a program of One Accord for Kids, helps children in our local foster system every day. We provide resources including beds, car seats, clothing, diapers, and school supplies for vulnerable children and families in our community.

In the Permian Basin, almost 90% of children placed in foster care will be moved away from their home county because of a lack of foster homes. The needs are great, and The Attic is working to engage the community with the crisis. In 2023, The Attic provided services for 1633 children in the Permian Basin. We expect that number to be even greater in 2025.

All participants of the 5K and 10K who register by August 20, 2025 will receive a SuperHero Run Shirt and other goodies! SHIRTS NOT GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER 8/20/2025.

💧 Aid Stations

We will have one aid station on the 5K route and 2 on the 10K. Water will be available at the start &: finish line as well.

📦 Packet Pick Up

Runners can pick up their packets at these locations:

Friday, September 19: 10:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Midland Athletic Company-3326 N Midkiff Rd Midland TX 79705

Saturday, September 20: 7:15 a.m.-7:45 a.m. at the race location

🚗 Parking

Please use the other First Baptist Church parking lots for parking.

🐶 Additional Information

Strollers &: Leashed Dogs are welcome! We just ask that you start in the back of the start line. Local leash laws apply.

Refunds not given if race is canceled due to inclement weather.
