Raquette River Marathon, Half, 10k, and 5k

Event Overview

• Race Types: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k
• Registration: Register by 2 weeks before race day to guarantee a race shirt.

Course Information

• Scenic Route: The Raquette River Marathon and races run along the scenic Raquette River along River Rd.
• Start/Finish: Starting and finishing at the Potsdam Arena.
• Course Certification: The course is certified by USATF and is a Boston Qualifier Certified USATF Map.
• Race Start Time: All races start together at 9:00 AM.

• Parking: Plenty of parking at Pine Street Arena.

• Restrooms: Facilities will be available at the start/finish and near the turn-around points.

Swag and Refreshments

• Swag Bag: A swag bag with registration materials, including bib, pins, t-shirt, sports drink, granola, fruit, etc. will be handed out to all pre-registered athletes.
• Refreshment Stops: Water/sports drink stops will be available every 1.5 miles along the course and at the start/finish.
• Check-in: RACE DAY check-in will be inside the arena by the finish line.
• Vendors: Concessions/food vendor will be on site from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Awards and Prizes

• Medals: Half Marathon and Marathon runners will receive medals at the finish.
• Podium Awards: We will have 1st-3rd overall male and female podium awards after the top 3 finishers have come in for both these races.
• Cash Awards: Planned for 2027 expected to be $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, and $75 for 3rd for both men and women, subject to change.
• Half Marathon Prizes: The half marathon also has cash prizes.
