Raquette River Marathon, Half, 10k, and 5k

🏃‍♀️ Race Date

• Date: 4/5/25
• Location: 43 Pine St, Potsdam, NY
• Registration: Shirts are now limited and not guaranteed for new registrants.

🌊 Course Details

• Scenic Route: The Raquette River Marathon and races run along the scenic Raquette River along River Rd, starting and finishing in Potsdam at the Potsdam Arena.
• Course Certification: The course involves rolling hills and is certified by USATF and therefore a Boston Qualifier Certified USATF Map.
• Race Start: All races start together at 9:00.
• Parking: Plenty of parking at Pine Street Arena.

🤝 Community Impact

• Donations: We made donations to Helping Sammy Fight Cancer through Sigma Phi Epsilon, the Global Service Initiative of Delta Upsilon, and the Community Impact Fund for School Readiness for Phi Sigma Sigma.

• Facilities: There will be restrooms at the start finish and portable johns near both the half marathon turn-around and the marathon turn-around points.

🍝 Pasta Party

• Date: Friday, the 28th.
• Event: We will have a pasta party with early check-in for $16.
• Details: Details to be emailed prior to the race date.

🏅 Awards

• Check-in: Check-in inside the arena by the finish line, awards begin approximately 30 minutes after the last finisher of each race and there will be concessions/ food vendor on site from 8:30-3:00.
• Medals: Half Marathon and Marathon runners will receive medals at finish.
• Podium Awards: We will do 1st-3rd overall male and female podium awards after the top 3 finishers have come in for each of those races.
• Cash Awards: Planned again for the 2025! These will be $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd for both men and women.
