The False River Harvest Festival’s Sugar Rush 5K and 1 mile is an annual event that promotes healthy and active lifestyles by hosting a road race in the beautiful city of New Roads, Louisiana. This year’s Sugar Rush 5K welcomes all ages and physical abilities to participate in the run/walk and celebrate while supporting a local school! Be sure to stay after the race to enjoy the festival’s food, rides, and live music!

📝 Registration Information

Now - September 30th:

• Adults - 5K: $25
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $20
• Adults - 1 mile: $20
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $15

October 1st - October 23rd:

• Adults - 5K: $30
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $25
• Adults - 1 mile: $25
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $20

October 24th - Nov 2nd (Race Day On-Site Registration):

• Adults - 5K: $35
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $30
• Adults - 1 mile: $30
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $25

🚨 Important Notes

• Infants/Toddlers: Ages 1-4 in strollers are free.
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registration is completed by October 15.
• Weather Policy: The event will occur rain or shine. There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled for extreme circumstances.
• Race Rules: The race will be on foot. Please no bikes, skates, etc.

📅 Race Day Schedule

• 8:15 am - 8:45 am: Packet/T-Shirt Pick up and On-Site Registration
• 9:00 am: 1 mile run/walk
• 9:15 am: 5K run/walk
• Awards: Immediately following the 5K at 10:30 am

🏆 Awards

1 Mile: Overall Male and Female & 1st place Male & Female in Age groups.

Age Groups: 1-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19.

5K: Overall Male and Female. Overall Masters Male, Overall Masters Female, Overall Grandmasters Male, Overall Grandmasters Female.

1st Place in Age Groups below:

Age Group for 5K: 5-7, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
