The False River Harvest Festival’s Sugar Rush 5K and 1 mile is an annual event that promotes healthy and active lifestyles by hosting a road race in the beautiful city of New Roads, Louisiana. This year’s Sugar Rush 5K welcomes all ages and physical abilities to participate in the run/walk and celebrate while supporting a local school! Be sure to stay after the race to enjoy the festival’s food, rides, and live music!

📆 Now - September 30th

• Adults - 5K: $25
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $20
• Adults - 1 mile: $20
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $15

📆 October 1st - October 24th

• Adults - 5K: $30
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $25
• Adults - 1 mile: $25
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $20

📆 October 25th - Nov 1st (Race Day On-Site Registration)

• Adults - 5K: $35
• Ages 5-17 - 5K: $30
• Adults - 1 mile: $30
• Ages 5-17 - 1 mile: $25

🌟 Important Notes

• Infants/Toddlers: Ages 1-4 in strollers are free
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registration is completed by October 15
• Weather: The event will occur rain or shine. There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled for extreme circumstances.
• Foot Race: The race will be on foot. Please no bikes, skates, etc.

⏰ Race Day At A Glance

• 8:15 am - 8:45 am: Packet/T-Shirt Pick up and On-Site Registration
• 9:00 am: 1 mile run/walk
• 9:15 am: 5K run/walk
• Awards: Immediately following the 5K at 10:30 am
• 10:00 am: Harvest Festival begins

• 1st Place: Male & Female in Age Groups: 1-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19

5K

• Overall: Male and Female
• Masters: Overall Male & Female
• Grandmasters: Overall Male & Female
• 1st Place: In Age Groups below: 5-7, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
