Step Outdoors TRYathlon & 5K Trail Run/Walk

Event Details

• Date: 2026-09-19
• Location: Hills Creek State Park, 111 Spillway Road, Wellsboro, PA 16901
• Registration Deadline: Online registration will officially close at Noon on Wednesday, Sept 16.
• Race Day Registration: Available starting at 8:30am on race day.

Participation Options

• Solo Participation: Individuals can do all three legs of the TRYathlon.
• Team Option: Teams of two or three can participate in the TRYathlon.
• 5K Stand-Alone: Option for runners and walkers who only want to do the 5K.
• Combined Start: All participants start at the same location and follow the same course.

Race Course

• Course Layout: Runners and walkers will follow park roads and trails around the perimeter of Hills Creek Lake.
• Paddle Leg: The second leg involves paddling a canoe or kayak around a 1.75-mile course with temporary markers.
• Biking Segment: Bikers will travel 8 miles on a mix of dirt and hardtop roads around the park.
• All Course Types: All routes designed to showcase the beautiful park scenery.
