Get ready for a fantastic mid-season challenge and a sun-soaked adventure at our 15th Annual Dog Days 5K, 10K, and half marathon, proudly benefiting Lifeline Puppy Rescue! Held in a central location convenient to both Denver and Boulder, our courses go along the scenic concrete-paved Big Dry Creek Trail as it winds northeast. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Flatirons on the horizon while you run.

Dog-Friendly Features

This event is perfect for both human and dog athletes! The trail offers a generous amount of soft surface, especially along the 10K and half marathon routes, making it ideal for dogs. We celebrate our canine competitors with a separate dog division for each distance, where the first three finishing dogs will receive a medal, award, and prize. (Just remember to register your dog the morning of the event!)
