Join Us for a Day of Competition
Team Holloman is opening the gates and inviting our families and friends in Alamogordo and the surrounding areas to join us for an adrenaline-filled day of sportsmanship and competition.
Event Details
- Events Available: Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, Kids Dash
- Open to All: Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey
- Proceeds: All registration proceeds go towards the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation fund benefiting Holloman AFB Airmen and their families.
- Course: Unique flat course on paved roads, nestled between the Sacramento Mountains and White Sands National Park.
Course Highlights
- Elevation Gain: Only 52 to 65 feet, ideal for fast times
- Military Cadence: Race ends with a “left, right, left” closing
- Historical Points: Pass by significant Air Force history along the way
- Static Display: Finish near static aircraft and equipment on display
Location of Events
- Marathon, Half Marathon &: 5K: Flight Line
- Kids Dash: Flight Line
Start and Finish Times
- Marathon: 7 a.m. (chip timing)
- Half Marathon: 7:15 a.m. (chip timing)
- 5K: 7:30 a.m. (chip timing)
- Kids Dash: 9:30 a.m.
Racecourse will close at 4 pm for the Marathon and Half Marathon, and at 10:30 am for the 5K. Remaining participants will be picked up.

- Marathon Swag: Bib, Nalgene bottle (until sold out), t-shirt (not guaranteed after 9/12), sticker, finisher medal
- Half Marathon Swag: Bib, Nalgene bottle (until sold out), t-shirt (not guaranteed after 9/12), sticker, finisher medal

- Kids Dash Swag: Bib, t-shirt (not guaranteed after 9/18), goodie bag, finisher medal (max 40 participants)
Participants must cross the finish line within the time limit to earn the finisher medal.

- Marathon: Overall 1st-3rd female and male
- Half Marathon: Overall 1st-3rd female and male
- 5K: Overall 1st-3rd female and male
- Timing: Awards will be based on chip timing.
