Red Wave 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Red Wave 5k and 1.5mi run is a fundraising event to benefit Red Wave Indoor percussion. Red Wave Indoor is an Independent World percussion ensemble from Fresno, California. Founded in 2017, the group performs at local, state, and national competitions every winter. The ensemble seeks to further the growth of young adults in the Central Valley through performance in the pageantry arts. For more information about Red Wave Indoor, please visit their website.

💰 Purpose of the Event

Members of Red Wave Indoor are required to pay membership fees to offset the costs of instructional staff, program designers, transportation, and so much more.

• Goal: Lessen the monetary burden placed on students.
• Support: In conjunction with the Friends of the Bulldog Marching Band.
• Focus: Allow students to concentrate on their experience.

• Date: 2025-10-11
• Location: 2671 E Barstow Ave, Fresno, CA
• Packet Pickup: Friday, August 15th, time and location TBD.
• Late Pickup: Morning of the race at 6:30am.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

Participants will receive a t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 of each age group as well as the first male and female finishers overall.
