🌐 Virtual Option

• Flexibility: Use any timing and distance tracking method/app of your choice.
• No Requirement: Not required to submit your time, but you can if you wish.
• Online Posting: Submit your time on Run Sign Up by Dec 1st.
• Giveaway Package: Virtual runners will receive a great giveaway package (shipping costs apply).

By participating in our Born to Run Race (5k + 1 mile fun run), you are directly contributing to a meaningful mission. All proceeds from this event will benefit Mary's Helping Hands, an organization dedicated to providing hope, love and support for expecting mothers and fathers who may need a helping hand with basic needs for their child’s first year of life. We do this by providing basic necessities such as clothing, diapers and wipes at no cost. Your participation will make a difference in the lives of those in need and help create a brighter future for our community.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, November 16th
• Race Time: 10:00 AM
• Location: Valley Community Center (trails).
• Timing: Professionally timed event including chip timing, live online results, and finish line video.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: Fitness Sports (8810 Swanson Blvd, Clive, IA 50325)
• Date & Time: Friday, November 15th, 4:00-6:00 PM.
• Additional Pickup: Saturday, Nov 16th, day of race, @ Valley Community Center from 8:00-9:00 AM.
• Day of Registration: Available from 8:00-9:30 AM at an increased cost.

🎉 Welcome Festivities

The event will end at 12:00 PM CT.

🎁 Giveaways

• In-Person Racers 13 and Over: Will receive a race t-shirt*, race bib, ice cream vouchers, and beer coupons.
• Children 12 and Under: Will receive Hy-Vee coupons, ice cream vouchers, race bib, and more.

🚶 Additional Info

Everyone is welcome whether you are an avid runner or just looking to get some fresh air. Walkers are encouraged as well for both the 5k and 1 mile run. Running/jogging strollers are recommended. We welcome dogs, but require them to be on leash at all times.
