Camp Quality's Go Gold for the Kids 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Sunday, September 7th, 2025
• Location: 4417 N McKinley Rd, Flushing, MI
• Start Time: Soft start from 10-10:30 am allowing runners and walkers to space out.
• Format: In-person and virtual 5k options available all month long.

🎗️ Awareness Month

• Childhood Cancer Awareness: September is dedicated to increasing knowledge about childhood cancer.
• Support Needed: Highlighting the statistics, funding, and support required for affected kids.
• Memorial Signs: Displays from past years will be featured along the Riverview trail and Flushing County park.
• Virtual Option: Complete the 5k in your neighborhood or treadmill.

📦 Race Packets

• Virtual Packets: Sent out in the first week of September to participants.
• Post-Race Packets: Additional packs will be sent weekly after the race begins.
• Group Registration: Register 3 or more people together and receive $3 off per person.

📅 Schedule of Events

• Event Type: Both virtual and in-person events available.
• Awards: Given to top 2 male and female participants in each age group, overall winners, and masters runners.
• Eligibility: Awards are for in-person 5k participants only.
• Age Groups: Various categories for both runners and walkers.

• Runners: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
• Walkers: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

• Limited Availability: Shirts and medals are limited.
• Early Registration: Register by August 20th, 2025, to guarantee a shirt and medal.
