Chord Energy Williston Marathon

• Description: The 4th Annual Chord Energy Williston Marathon is a premier endurance event in Williston.

Course Details

• Unique Experience: Runners will run on the runway of the Williston Basin International Airport.
• Certification: USATF-Certified Course and a Boston Qualifier!
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to Upper Missouri Relay For Life in Williston, ND.
• Community Health: Supports healthy living and active community initiatives.

Packet Pickup

• June 5: 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Williston Area Recreation Center (822 18th St E, Williston, ND 58801)
• June 6: 5:30am to 8:00am at the "big tent" at the start line.
• Finisher's Medal: All runners will receive a 2025 finisher medal and event t-shirt!
• Registration Cut-off: Must register by April 26, 2026 to receive a shirt!

Race Schedule

• Marathon: Shotgun kickoff at 6:30am
• Half Marathon: Shotgun kickoff at 7:00am
• 10K: Shotgun kickoff at 8:00am
• 5K: Shotgun kickoff at 8:15am

Race Policies

• Strollers: Not allowed for the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon races.
• Animals: No animals allowed unless they are a service animal.
• Event Closing: Williston Marathon event closes at 2pm.
• Parking: Ample parking available: please do not block driveways or entrances.

Additional Info

• Routes: Routes will be marked by signage and volunteers: maps will be available.
• Water Stations: Six stations will provide water, first aid, electrolytes, and light refuel options.
• Restrooms: Available at the start line and along the route.
• Timing: Chip timed event provided by Competitive Timing. Find your results here!

Post Run Event

• Celebrate: Spectators and participants are welcome at the finish line and post-run event.
