Colorado Coyotes Cross Country Invitational

Join us for the ninth annual Colorado Coyotes Cross Country Invitational—a high-energy event open to all youth runners ages 6 to 14!

Event Features

• Course: A scenic course made up of grass, crushed dirt rock, a few sidewalk crossings, and rolling hills—perfect for a fun and challenging race experience.
• Timing: All races will be professionally chip-timed by Colorado Race Timing.
• Custom Bibs: Each runner will receive a custom bib.
• Medals: The top 10 boys and girls in each division will earn custom die-cast medals to commemorate their performance.

Race Details

• Coed Races: Races will be run coed (boys and girls together).
• Age Groups: Determined by the runner’s age as of December 31, 2025.
• Race Schedule: Check the schedule below for age divisions and start times.
• Age Groups:
  • Ages 13–14 (Born 2011–2012) – 4K (2.48 miles) at 9:00 AM
  • Ages 11–12 (Born 2013–2014) – 3K (1.86 miles) at 9:30 AM (Competitive) and 9:33 AM (CARA Division)
  • Ages 9–10 (Born 2015–2016) – 3K (1.86 miles) at 10:00 AM (Competitive) and 10:03 AM (CARA Division)
  • Ages 8 & Under (Born 2017 or later) – 2K (1.24 miles) at 10:30 AM (Competitive) and 10:33 AM (CARA Division)

Location & Directions

• Start & Finish: deKoevend Park, Shelter C, next to Goodson Recreation Center.
• Address: 6315 S. University Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30 AM on race day at Shelter C.
• Parking & Drop-Off:
  • Drop off tents, gear, and runners near Shelter C.
  • Then park in one of the following lots:
    - Goodson Recreation Center – 6315 S. University Blvd.
    - deKoevend Park – 6301 S. University Blvd.
    - South Suburban Ice Arena – 6580 S. Vine St. (Use the bridge from this lot to access the High Line Canal and walk to deKoevend Park.)
