Race Details

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with the "Gingerbread Lane" holiday race, a festive extravaganza set in the beautiful Texas parks and greenbelts! Every participant will receive a holiday-themed race shirt and a festive medal to commemorate their achievement.

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: A 50-meter dash for kids 10 and under. Includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip-timed event featuring overall trophies and standard age group awards.
• 10K: Chip-timed event with overall trophies and age group awards.

Standard Age Group Awards for 5K & 10K

• 1st Place: Overall trophies for male and female finishers.
• 1st Place Masters: Special recognition award lanyard pin for ages 40 and over.
• Age Categories: Awards for 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
• Placement: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awards in each category.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: 7:30-8:45am
• Kids Dash Start: 8:55am
• National Anthem and Race Start: 9:00am
• Awards: Results available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteer Registration: Sign up under the "VOLUNTEER" tab on the top menu.
• Participation: Volunteers can earn a race shirt, medal, and a free race entry for a future event.
• Various Roles: Water Station, Course Monitors, Finish Line Helpers, etc.
• Volunteer Arrival: Check in 1.5 hours before start time.

• Submit a Referral: Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.
• Group Discounts: Sign up as a group to receive special discounts.
• Youth Pricing: Youth-based pricing for participants 12 and under—only $15!
• Shirt Availability: Shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the event.
