🦃 Race Overview

Event: Give NCW Turkey Trot, presented by Wenatchee Valley Medical Group, is a great way to start your holiday season.
Features: The event features timed 5K and 10K races and an untimed, free run for kids.
Location: The 5K and 10K races are held on the Apple Capital Loop Trail along the Wenatchee riverfront.
Kids Race: The Kids Race is held on a short course on the grounds of Pybus Public Market. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted.

Campaign: This family friendly event kicks off the annual Give NCW online giving campaign hosted by the Community Foundation NCW.
Duration: Give NCW starts Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 31 and supports nonprofit organizations in NCW.
Proceeds: Race proceeds will be shared among the nonprofit organizations that participate in the campaign.
Costume Contest: The “Best Dressed Individual” will receive a $500 Giving Card that can be redeemed to support nonprofits on Give NCW, and the “Best Dressed Group” will receive a $1,000 Giving Card.

Location: The two races start and finish on the trail behind Pybus Public Market. The Kids Race is held in the boat launch parking lot behind Pybus Public Market.
Start times: 9:00am kids race: 9:15am 10K: and 9:30am 5K.
Youth Policy: Youth who are 12 years and younger can run untimed for free in the 5K, with a paid adult. Do not register them unless they want to be officially timed.
Packet Pickup: Wednesday, Nov 26th from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the Pybus Public Market: Thursday (race day), Nov 27 7:00am-8:45am inside Pybus Public Market. There will be NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.

Swag: The first 750 paid registrants will receive a commemorative beanie hat.
Aid Stations: There are two aid stations - one at the 5k turnaround and one at the 10k turnaround with water and Gatorade.
Restrooms: Porta potties are located at the start/finish, but not along the course.
