Green Valley Lake, CA (Between Running Springs & Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains)

Start Times

• 7:00 AM: Early Start Half Marathon (for those expecting to take 3.75+ hours)
• 7:30 AM: Standard Half Marathon Start
• 8:00 AM: Mass Start for 5K & 10K

Course Highlights

• Scenic route: Start with a breathtaking ¾-mile out-and-back along the lake
• Elevation gain: Enjoy a 400 ft elevation gain to an overlook at the 5K turnaround
• Varied terrain: 10K and Half Marathon continue through pine forests and rocky vistas
• Refreshments: Water & aid stations every 1.5 miles

Location

Green Valley Lake – Just 40 minutes from Redlands, located off Hwy 18 between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear.

Post-race activities take place in the Downtown Community Garden on the main lake area on Green Valley Lake Rd. Race HQ / Packet Pickup: Next to Black Dog Social Club, 33231 Green Valley Lake Rd.

Friday Night Sunset Run

Optional Add-On: Friday, August 6 at 7:15 PM – Sunset Trail 5K. Meet at Black Dog. This is a fun, scenic, single-track 3.1-mile warm-up trail run. Email: carenfasttrack@aol.com to sign up.

Community Impact

THIS race GIVES BACK to the local national forest CHILDREN'S FOREST on behalf of TEAM JANIECE. Your extra donations and participation support TEAM JANIECE, formed by the CAMACHO family to commemorate the life of their daughter, Janiece, who helped build the Children's Forest trail.

This race is in honor of families and the precious years we have with each other, that can be cut short in an unfathomable blink. And for us to hold dear loss and love. May you FEEL the mountains are special. The breeze in your hair. The sun on your face...
