About the Event

• Organization: The JAHHS Herren Project Club creates a peer network to empower youth to make healthy choices.
• Focus: Club members encourage overall wellness, development of coping skills and leadership in their school and community.
• Learning: Through club meetings and events, students learn self-care, decision-making skills & stress management techniques.
• Aim: The goal is to help youth cope with life’s challenges substance-free.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories

• Early Registration: $30 until midnight 4/17/2026.
• Race Day Registration: $35 on race day (04/18/2026).
• Payment Method: YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE USING ELECTRONIC PAYMENT.
• Cash Policy: NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR RACE REGISTRATION.

T-shirts will be guaranteed to 5K participants who register by April 1st.

Awards/Categories

• Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female 5K finishers overall.
• Age Categories: 5K finishers will also be awarded in the following age categories:
• - Under 18
• - 18-29
• - 30-44
• - 45-59
• - 60+

Course

• Terrain: The course is mostly flat.
• Location: It takes you through beautiful downtown historic Edenton.
• Scenic Views: Participants will run through neighborhoods of historic homes.
• Waterside: The course also runs along the waterside.
