Hope for the Holiday Half Marathon and 5k in Memory of Garrett Yeager

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The race is being held to honor the memory of Garrett Yeager, beloved friend, son, brother, and father. All proceeds will be donated in his memory to Special Olympics of Batesville and New Hope Refuge. New Hope Refuge is a faith-based and Christ-centered program for women who are struggling with substance abuse issues.

📍 Race Course

• Location: Starting out in the beautiful Eagle Mountain neighborhood for the 5k.
• Half Marathon Route: The half marathon will continue over to the beautiful campus of Lyon College.
• Trail Segment: Once at Lyon, you will jump on the 3/4 mile trail section of the course.
• Return Journey: Upon exiting the trail, you will run the country roads leading back to the main highway to work your way back to Eagle Mountain.

🎖️ Participant Perks

• Finisher’s Medal: Each participant will receive a finishers medal.
• Race Hoodie: All participants will receive a race hoodie.
• Registration Deadline: Race registration will cut off on November 30th to be guaranteed a hoodie.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be race morning starting at 6:30 until 7:45.

❗ Cancellation Policy

If the race is cancelled, all entries will be deferred to the 2025 race. Sorry, no refunds.
