🏃‍♂️ MLK5K Overview

All of South Florida is invited to join us for our 5th annual race celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year we are expecting a diverse crowd of approximately 400 men, women and children of all ages to come together to chase Dr. King’s dream of equality, good health, and economic equity.

🏅 Event Details

• Event Offerings: This event has something for nearly everyone who can walk or run including kids races, 1-mile, 5k and 10k races.
• Community Focus: Participants, sponsors and exhibitors will be once again joining forces to share their passions for unity, improved health outcomes, and support for small local minority-owned businesses.
• Charitable Impact: A portion of proceeds from this event will be used to offset the costs for participants looking to improve their health, but are not able to cover the full costs of registration.
• Support Local Businesses: Net proceeds help provide educational programs as well as other resources to small minority-owned businesses in Palm Beach County through the efforts of the volunteers of two nonprofit organizations, the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and the Equity Entrepreneur Center.

🎓 DIVINE NINE 5K Challenge

• Fraternity & Sorority Invitation: Calling all Greeks!! Fraternities and sororities are invited to join us again this year to compete for trophies exclusively for you.
• Trophy Competition: The fraternity and sorority with the most number of registered members will each earn a coveted trophy which they will have to defend at next year's event.
• Scholarship Support: Fraternities and sororities will have their own unique promo codes which will direct a portion of the proceeds to college scholarships administered through the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Palm Beach County.
• Meet on Greek Row: New for this year is the addition of Greek Row. Your fraternity or sorority can secure a tent on Greek Row where you can meet up before and after the race to enjoy some good fellowship.
