North Creek Explorer 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

We invite you to join us at our 18th annual North Creek Explorer 5K Run & Walk race which has been a local favorite for many years! It is one of just a few Saturday evening races in the area praised for its great atmosphere with live music and food for all. This race keeps growing with record number of runners, families and friends and we hope to see even more runners on the course this year in support of the Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program. In 2025 we were able to donate $8,000 to the Explorer Program thanks to the support of our community.

• Location: 4601 NW 71st Place, Coconut Creek, FL
• Award Ceremony: Recognizing top 3 overall male and female runners, top 3 age group winners, and top male and female first responders.

Financial Support

All proceeds will directly benefit the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program that supports protecting and serving our future community. The Explorers Program provides students, ages 14 – 18, actual experience and training for a career in law enforcement. Proceeds will cover costs for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions and supplies.

• Goal: Help us meet our fundraising goal of $5,000.
• Impact: Without your help students cannot cover these costs or pursue their passion - giving back to the community.

Additional Information

• Swag Bag: All runners will receive a swag bag with a long sleeve dri-fit logo shirt.
• Race Day Registration: Starts at 3PM on race day.
• Finish Medals: First 175 finishers will receive a medal.
