Ready Set Glow 5k

🌟 Join Us for a Night of Fun

Pull out your brightest gear and join us for a night racing through downtown Abilene. This glow in dark 5K will end with a high-energy Glow Party in The Well's green space.

• Date: October 12, 2025
• Time: Run begins at 7:00 pm. Glow Party will start at 6:00 and end at 8:30 pm.
• Location: 137 Mesquite, Abilene, Texas 79601
• Registration: Register by September 21 to snag your exclusive glow kit - compete with light-up accessories and our signature event t-shirt.

🎉 What to Expect

• Glow Gear: Everyone who registers by Sept. 21 will receive a race packet full of glow-in-the-dark accessories, including our race t-shirt.
• Scenic Course: The timed 5K route will take you through the vibrant heart of downtown Abilene lined with glowing volunteers.
• Glow Party: Celebrate your accomplishment with a post-race party featuring food trucks, children's activities, and non-profit vendors.
• Community Spirit: All proceeds from the race go directly to We Love Abilene, helping meet real needs across the city.

📅 Event Details

• Registration Fee: Registration including glow pack, bib and t-shirt is $35 (13+) and $15 (12 & under).
• Registration Deadline: Sign up by September 21 to guarantee your glow gear.
• Early Packet Pick-Up: 10/11/25 from 9:30 AM to 12 PM at The Well, 137 Mesquite, Abilene, Texas 79601.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race before or after each service in the lobby of The Well.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Glow Party: Starts at 6:00 PM.
• Walk-up Registration: 6:00 - 6:30 PM.
• 5K Run: Begins at 7:00 PM.
• Fun Run: Starts at 7:05 PM.

🅿️ Parking and Safety Measures

• Parking: Available at The Well church and the empty lot across the street.
• Safety: Ample lighting along the course and glowing volunteers will be stationed throughout.
• Road Traffic: Please note, this is an open course: roads will not be closed to traffic.
• Footwear: Please wear appropriate footwear and be mindful of your surroundings.
