🎉 Event Overview

Pull out your brightest gear and join us for a night racing through downtown Abilene. This glow in dark 5K will end with a high-energy Glow Party in The Well's green space.

• Exclusive Glow Kit: Register by September 21 to snag your exclusive glow kit-compete with light-up accessories and our signature event t-shirt - so you can shine from start to finish!
• Food and Fun: After the race, stick around for food trucks, fun activities for kids, and community booths from local non-profits who are making a difference in our city.
• Community Support: All proceeds from the race go directly to We Love Abilene, helping meet real needs and offer hope to individuals and families across Abilene.

🌟 What to Expect

• Glow Gear: Everyone who registers by Sept. 21 will receive a race packet full of glow-in-the-dark accessories, including our race t-shirt. Also, everyone who donates a package of new socks or underwear for AISD Homeless Ministry during packet pick up will receive a light up baton. Let's make downtown shine!
• Scenic Course: The timed 5K route will take you through the vibrant heart of downtown Abilene lined with glowing volunteers. This course is an open course that goes out and back to start and end at The Well church.
• Glow Party: Celebrate your accomplishment with a post-race party in The Well's green space featuring food trucks, children's activities, and non-profit vendors to help us learn ways to love Abilene together!

📝 Event Details

• Registration: Registration including glow pack, bib and t-shirt is $35 (13+) and $15 (12 & under). Children (12 & under) not wanting a packet, bib or shirt are free! Fun Run is $15 (all ages).
• Sign Up Deadline: Sign up by September 21 to guarantee your glow gear.
• Early Packet Pick-Up: 10/11/25 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at The Well, 137 Mesquite, Abilene, Texas 79601.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race (10/12/25) before or after each service in the lobby of The Well.

🚦 Race Day Schedule

• Glow Party Start: 6:00 pm.
• Walk-Up Registration: 6:00-6:30 pm.
• 5K Run: 7:00 p.m.
• Fun Run: 7:05 p.m.

🅿️ Parking

Parking is available at The Well church, and the empty lot across the street. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot. Please do not park near barricades or on N2nd street by the Well or Front Porch.

⚠️ Safety Measures

We will have ample lighting along the course, and glowing volunteers stationed throughout to direct traffic and ensure your safety. Please note, this is an open course, meaning roads will not be closed to traffic. We will have one traffic officer set up to help with the crossing at 5th and Pine. Please wear appropriate footwear and be mindful of your surroundings.
