🏞️ Event Details

• Packet Pick-Up: starting at 8:00 AM the day of the event.
• Arrival Time: No later than 8:45 AM for Run/Hike and 12:30 PM for Discounted Tours.
• Registration Deadline: Online registration ends on 9/18/2025: in-person registration available until 8:30 AM on the event day.
• Parking Information: You CANNOT park at the sanctuary: Shuttle service provided starting at 8:00 AM.

🌲 Race Information

• Event Type: 5K and 10K Trail Walk/Run across a beautiful 452-acre facility.
• Purpose: All proceeds support the sanctuary and preservation of North American wildlife.
• 5K Course: Features wetlands, waterways, and wildlife enclosures.
• 10K Challenge: Includes a significant elevation gain of over 240 feet in under a mile.

🌧️ Weather Considerations

• Course Adjustment: Should flooding occur, the course may be rerouted.
• Registration Reminder: Arrive by 8:30 AM for registration: race starts at 9:00 AM.
• Shirts and Bags: Guaranteed only to participants who register by Sept 3, 2024.

🌍 Post-Race Activities
