The FUNDS go to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Fund which has awarded over $255,000 MILLION dollars in scholarships.
The "Stampede", a 5K run/walk, IS BACK -- The Stampede kicks off a full day of activities associated with "The Western Heritage Weekend" and the Annual San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, in beautiful downtown San Antonio. You will be in the middle of the action for the yearly Western Heritage Parade & Cattle Drive, Chuck Wagon Breakfast, great entertainment in the plaza, and the annual Vaquero Cook-Off after the parade. All race proceeds go to the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Fund. As a participant, you/your team will have the opportunity to run/walk through picturesque downtown, as you travel the route of the Western Heritage Parade and Cattle Drive. This run is one of only a few available to runners that actually goes through the middle of downtown San Antonio. Several activities will be taking place prior to and after at the start/finish location, and after the parade, join the fun at the Market Square. It’s time to register yourself/ your team so you can join us for this unique opportunity to participate in this annual historical celebration.
MILAM PARK - look for the tents and the Rodeo Flags!!! Onsite/Online late registration is available online and during/at the packet pick-up locations (see below) and Onsite only under the tents beginning at 7:30 AM Saturday, February 7th, 2026.
Event fees: No refunds - (SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS). Teams - minimum of 10 runners will receive a $5 discount (once you reach 10 runners, you will get a $5 refund). Late registration starts at 12:01 am February 7, 2026.
Packet Pick-up and onsite registration will occur at various locations leading up to the event. Please check the schedule for specific details.
