• Purpose: Funds go to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Fund which has awarded over $255,000 million dollars in scholarships.

📅 Race and Parade Details

• Race Format: The "Stampede," a 5K run/walk, is back and part of the Western Heritage Weekend.
• Start Time: 9 AM: Parade starts at 10:50 AM.
• Post-Race Activities: After the race, enjoy the Western Heritage Parade and various festivities.
• Route: Experience picturesque downtown San Antonio and the River Walk.

📍 Parking Information

• Location: CATTLEMAN'S LOT - Parking available after 7 AM, February 6, 2027, on a first come, first serve basis.
• Access: [West of 35 between Buena Vista/Leona St/W. Commerce/S. Pecos-La Trinidad St.]
• Note: Construction in downtown can affect access: arrive early.

🥇 Awards and Recognition

• Overall Winners: Both male and female winners will receive a bronze trophy and a gift certificate to BOOT BARN.
• Masters & Grand Masters: Special awards for runners aged 40 and up, including participation in the parade.
• Age Categories: Awards for 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-99.
• Special Awards: New Grand Masters award for runners 65 and older.

📝 Registration Information

• Deadline: Web Registration closes at 10 PM on 02/05/2027 or when maximum capacity is reached.
• Late Registration: Onsite from 7:30 AM on race day.
• Team Discount: Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5 discount.
• Virtual Run: Available for those unable to attend. Race kits will be mailed during the week of February 1st, 2027.

• Locations: Burleson Beer Garden & Las Palapas (multiple locations and dates).
• Race Day: Packet pick-up starts at 7:30 AM at MILAM PARK.
