• Return of Shirt: The poly-tech shirt from last year is back. But the guarantee ends Oct 31.
• Quality Assurance: With tariffs, shipping costs & other uncertainties we may have cotton after that. Or no shirt!! Do not get cut off.

🏃 Event Overview

The Stratford Turkey Day Trot has become one of the largest of its kind in the area. From its humble start in Stratford Center over 20 years ago with under 100 people, our event has grown to average over 800 people each year.

• Community Support: Our 5k event is successful and safe thanks to the tremendous support and cooperation from the Stratford Police, EMS, Public Works & Fire Departments.
• Shirt Guarantee: ALL Shirt size guarantee ends OCT 31st.
• Post-Registration: Any registration after 11/1 will get shirts ‘as available’ at pickup.
• Stress-Free Pickup: AVOID PRE-THANKSGIVING STRESS- you’ll have enough later!

📅 Registration Details

Late Registration fees increase and are ONLINE ONLY- No paper entries/ no cash.

• Pricing Timeline: 6/11 - 7/13 THE LOWEST FEES! $32 ages 19 & over, $25 ages 18 & under.
• Increasing Fees: 7/14 - 9/14 $37 / $26, 9/15 - 11/20 $39 / $28.
• Final Pricing: 11/21 - 11/27 $41 / $30 If not sold out & online only- use your device!
• Registration Cap: WE CLOSE REGISTRATION AT 1000 PARTICIPANTS. DON’T GET SHUT OUT!

🕖 Thanksgiving Morning Schedule

• 6:00 am: Wake up, have a coffee, do your thing.
• 8:05 am: FREE Kids run around the Main St. block- don’t miss Donna’s warmup!
• 8:15 am: Turkey Trot 5K start - get moving!
• 8:30 am: Snacks, fluids, & adult hydration at Cibos dos, Pregame & Frenchies Cafe!

🤝 Community Support

The proceeds of the Stratford Turkey Day Trot have averaged over $10,000 each of the last five years. These funds are donated to many non-profit groups & charities from within our Stratford Community.

• Previous Beneficiaries: Masonic House Learning Center for Dyslexia, Town of Stratford Recreation Department, Town of Stratford Community Services, Sterling House.
• Contribution: A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated AND useful.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

AWARDS: Male & Female Champions are removed from their age groups and given separate awards.

• Age Group Awards: male & female 1st, 2nd, 3rd for categories from 9 & under to 80+
• Pickup: PLEASE PICK UP YOUR AWARD AFTER YOU FINISH. WE WILL DISTRIBUTE THEM NEAR THE FINISH.
• Award Distribution: WE WILL NOT HAVE A FORMAL CEREMONY. WE WILL NOT MAIL THEM but pickup will be available the following week.
