- Participant Perks: 2026 Summer Sendoff T-SHIRT and cash prizes for the Top 3 Overall Male/Female finishers.
- Medals & Prizes: Medals for Top 3 finishers in each age group, raffle baskets, and bib number prizes!
Event Activities
- Games: Enjoy games along the 1 Mile Walk route!
- Atmosphere: Music, water stations, and tents at the start/finish area for hydration and fun.
- Kick-Off Times: 4:30 PM Race Day Registration Opens, 6:00 PM Event Kick-Off & 1 Mile, 7:00 PM 5K Run.
- Weather Policy: RAIN or SHINE EVENT!
Registration Information
- Location: Pickering Valley Elementary School, 121 Byers Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425
- Cost: $20 SUPER EARLY until March 31st and $30 Early Registration starts April 1st.
- Community Impact: Funds raised will support BEST BUDDIES, a nonprofit focused on inclusivity for individuals with IDD.
- Donation Impact: A portion of every registration will be donated to BEST BUDDIES, with over $4,500 raised since 2024!
History & Purpose
- Origins: Created as a Graduation Service Project in 2022 by local high school athletes.
- Current Tradition: The Summer Sendoff continues to be a cherished community event each August.
- Goal: To strengthen community ties while raising awareness and funds for local causes.
- Mission: Promoting the power of INCLUSIVITY through sports and community involvement.
