About the Event
- Organizer: Hosted by the Lenawee Endurance Club in partnership with Hungry Howie’s
- Purpose: Raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research, support, and early detection through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
- Community Goal: Our community fundraising goal this year is $2,500, and 100% of donations will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
- Mission: “The Missing Slice” helps close the gap in resources needed to end breast cancer.
Race Details
- 5K Run/Walk: Timed race with overall awards presented post-race.
- Route: Open roads with volunteers and signage guiding the route.
- Participants: Strollers and walkers are welcome!
- Fun Run: Starts at 8:15 AM for ages 12 & under, includes finisher medal and T-shirt.
Post-Race Activities
- Complimentary Pizza: Provided by Hungry Howie’s after your run/walk.
- Community Vibes: Enjoy the atmosphere with high-fives all around!
Parking Information
- Green Lot: Reserved for volunteers.
- Blue Lot: For race participants.
- Communication: Any changes will be communicated prior to the event.
