Vineland Youth Running Club

Race Overview

The Vineland Youth Running Club (VYRC) is for children in the Greater Vineland Area ages 7-14 interested in recreational and competitive running.

Participation Requirements

• No Experience Necessary: No prior running experience is required to join the club.
• Commitment: Your child must be willing to listen, learn, and commit to putting in the work required to develop the proper skills.
• Benchmark Progress: The mile is our chosen benchmark for progress.
• Daily Practice: Starting with the very first day of club and every day after that, your child will run/walk at least a mile (excluding meets).

Practice and Meets

• Practice Days: Practices will be on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30 pm.
• Meets: There will be 5 meets in place of practice on Wednesday nights.
• Additional Events: Information on additional competitive events will be provided as we learn more.

Season Dates

• Spring Season: April 20 - June 10.
• Fall Season: September 21 - October 28.

Membership Fees

Individual Spring/Fall Membership: $75
Full Year Membership: $120
