Race for Grace 5k

🦃 Race Overview

• Event: Join us Thanksgiving Morning for the 18th annual Race for Grace 5K Run & 1 mile walk presented by Eastside Community Ministry, Grace Church and the Rotary Club Zanesville.
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all skill level welcome!
• Proceeds: All proceeds raised from this event go to Eastside Community Ministry’s Choice Food Pantry and Noon Rotary’s Healthy Bodies Health Minds programs.

🥘 Impact on the Community

• Food Pantry: The ECM Choice Food Pantry permits families to visit once a month, providing enough groceries to prepare 3 meals for 3 days for each individual in the household.
• Food Choices: This helps eliminate food waste and allows families to have a choice in what food they are feeding to their families.
• Meals Provided: The pantry serves over 5,000 families to provide enough groceries to prepare over 150,000 meals.
• Summer Support: In the summer of 2025, Rotary’s Healthy Bodies Health Minds provided 100 meals bags for low-income children during the week of the 4th of July.

🏁 Event Details

• Date & Time: Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27th at 8:30 am.
• Location: 5k in person event located at 516 Shinnick St, Zanesville, OH with parking at Grace Church and throughout Downtown Zanesville.
• Race Course: Participants will start at Grace Church and experience a flat course throughout downtown Zanesville, finishing back at Grace Church.
• Entry Fees: 5K Run - $30 Through November 27th: Race Day - $35. 1 Mile Walk - Free (No Race packet or event shirt).

🎽 Race Packets & Perks

• Inclusions: Your race packet will include a custom long sleeve technical shirt.
• Finishers: All finishers will receive a custom medal.
• Registration: Pre Event Packet pick-up will be at Grace Church on Tuesday, November 25th and Wednesday November 26th from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
• Day of Pickup: Race Day pick up will begin at 7:00 am at Grace Church.

🏆 Awards

• Awards: Finishers’ awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category.
• Categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+.
