Bolingbrook Park District's Parkie's 5K is back! We've got the flat, fast course, and community feel that you've loved for years!
Participation Details
- Event Type: Run, Walk or push a stroller to make it a family event.
- T-Shirt Guarantee: Participants fully registered by August 1 are guaranteed to receive t-shirts in their size: those registered after are not guaranteed a shirt or correct shirt size.
- Finisher's Gift: Each participant earns a finishers gift.
- Same Day Registration: Available on race day starting at 6:30 am.
Race Packet Pickup
Pre-registration racers will be able to pick up race packets on August 21, between 3:00-7:00pm at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex (200 Lindsey Lane) in our Multipurpose Room.

- Registration Fee:
- $30 adults (15 yrs +), $27 child (6-14 yrs), if registered by July 31, 2026 at 11:50 pm
- $35 adults (15 yrs +), $32 child (6-14 yrs), if registered between August 1 - August 20, 2026, at 9:00 am
- $40 adults (15 yrs +), $38 child (6-16 yrs), if registered on Race Day
- $25 1-Mile Walk
Awards and Recognition
- Commemorative Medals: All participants will receive a commemorative medal - 5K only.
- Award Medals: Presented to the top overall male & female finisher and top 3 males & females in each category: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
- Category: 5K only.
- T-Shirt Guarantee: Those registered by August 1st will be guaranteed to receive a t-shirt.
Parkie's 1-Mile Family Fun Walk
Location: Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex
- Ages: 4 years & up.
- Event Description: Walk or push a stroller through the neighborhood for this fun, untimed 1-Mile Family Fun Walk.
- Stroller Participants: Stroller riders are free but will not receive a race shirt or finisher’s medal. Registered runners must be at least 5 years old.
- T-Shirt: Each participant will receive a t-shirt in their size.
