Event Overview
It's time for the 14th Annual Habitat Hustle 5K Run/Walk! This event benefits UF Habitat for Humanity. Wear your favorite running or walking gear and come out on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 for a community-wide event with UF Habitat! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES!
Race Details
- Location: Boulware Springs Park, Gainesville
- Trail: The race takes place along Gainesville's scenic Hawthorne Trail.
- Start Time: The race will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
- Check-In: Suggested arrival/check-in time is 8:30 a.m.
Post-Race Treats
Runners can enjoy post-race treats and raffle prizes from local businesses upon crossing the finish line. The top three male and female racers will be awarded! All proceeds benefit UF Habitat for Humanity in supporting their mission to provide safe, affordable housing to deserving families in Alachua County through home builds and critical home repairs.
Registration Information
- Inclusions: T-shirt, race bib, raffle ticket, and post-race treats
- Extra Tickets: Extra raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 per ticket at the event.
- T-shirt Deadline: 2026 Race T-shirts are guaranteed with a sign up before Friday, October 2, 2026.
- After Deadline: T-shirts will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Special Notes
- Children: Children 5 years old and under run for FREE! No need to register them.
- Parking: Free Parking at 3300 SE 15th Street, Gainesville, FL 32641: overflow parking available next door.
- Updates: All race updates will be posted to our Instagram: @ufh4h.
- Carpool: If you need a ride or can give a ride to the race, please use the Carpool Form.
Important Dates
This carpool form will close on Thursday, October 15, 2026. We will send out the ride assignments with contact information on Friday, October 16, 2026.
