Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park Race

Event Overview

• Date: 2026-11-07
• Location: Alamosa Family Recreation Center, 2222 Old Sanford Rd, Alamosa, CO 81101
• Purpose: A salute to Vets to kick off Veteran's Week and to raise funds for Alamosa's Veterans Memorial Park.
• Race Options: 5k and 10k race options are available.

Race Details

• Start/Finish: The race will once again start and end at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center.
• 10k Format: The 10k race repeats the 5k lap twice.
• Route Information: The race route is to be determined and will be posted as soon as it's finalized.
• Post-Race: Food, drinks, and an awards ceremony will follow the race.

Participation

• Welcome: Walkers, runners, and strollers are welcome!
• Family-Friendly: Families are also welcome to have some fun and cheer on the runners/walkers!

Registration Information

• Proceeds: Proceeds from race registration fees go towards supporting the Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park.
• Included: Race registration includes a long sleeve running shirt and post-race refreshments.
