Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park Race

🏅 Event Overview

• Event Date: November 8, 2025
• Location: Alamosa Family Recreation Center, 2222 Old Sanford Rd, Alamosa, CO 81101
• Event Type: 5k and 10k race options available
• Purpose: A salute to Vets to kick off Veteran's Week and to raise funds for Alamosa's Veterans Memorial Park

🚶‍♂️ Race Details

• Route: The 10k race repeats the 5k lap twice: the race route is to be determined and will be posted as soon as it's finalized.
• Start/End: The race will once again start and end at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center.
• Inclusivity: Walkers, runners, and strollers are welcome!
• Family Friendly: Families are also welcome to have some fun and cheer on the runners/walkers!

🎖️ Post-Race Festivities

• Refreshments: Food and drinks will be available post-race.
• Awards Ceremony: An awards ceremony will follow the race.
• Registration Perks: Race registration includes a long sleeve running shirt and post-race refreshments.
• Support: Proceeds from race registration fees go towards supporting the Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park.
