Personal Journey

• November 15, 2023: Everything changed for me.
• Accident: A freak incident led to a C6 vertebra burst fracture and quadriplegia.
• Rehabilitation: Months of physical, mental, and spiritual recovery ensued.
• Determination: I made the choice to keep going, step by step.

Race Purpose

• Personal Endeavor: The race began as a way for me to run again.
• Bigger Goals: It evolved into a broader mission for resilience.
• Year 1: Surprised by the support I received during the first event.
• Community Growth: Year 2 saw over 500 participants rallying together.

Race Philosophy

• Overcoming Challenges: It's about getting back up when knocked down.
• Inclusivity: Open to everyone—walking, running, or rolling.
• Celebration: A testament to the resilient human spirit.
• Accessibility: The race is free to remove barriers for all abilities.

Mission Support

• Scholarship: The Dr. Raul Singh Nursing Scholarship at CSU Pueblo.
• Research: Supporting spinal cord injury research at Craig Hospital.
• Veteran's Aid: Providing adaptive equipment for disabled veterans.
• Community Partners: Proud to work with Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center.

Impact and Future Goals

$75,000+ raised for recovery, accessibility, and community impact. We’re aiming for over 1,000 participants this year.
