Personal Journey

Life-Changing Moment: On November 15, 2023, everything changed. A freak accident while playing with my daughter left me with a burst fracture at my C6 vertebra… and a diagnosis of quadriplegia.

Relentless Rehabilitation: What followed was months of relentless rehabilitation—physical, mental, and spiritual.

Step by Step: And a decision, over and over again, to keep going. Step by step… I learned to walk again.

Personal to Purpose: This race started as something personal. A way to run again. A way to reclaim what was lost. But it became something bigger.

First Year Highlights

Unexpected Success: The first year… we didn’t know what to expect.

Memorable Moment: Then came the moment I’ll never forget— running into the Thunderbowl with 300+ participants.

Year 2 Growth: Year 2 we kept Going & Growing with 500+ people at the starting line.

Community Support: A community that showed up in a way I could have never imagined.
