This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🎽 Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This event is for our little Yeti's and is typically about a 50 meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under, this is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chip timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features overall trophies for male and female finishers, and special recognition pins.
• 10K: Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features overall trophies and special recognition pins.

• DJ: DJ Sasquatch will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you’re motivated and pumped throughout your run.
• Awards: Every runner will be celebrated with recognition and age group awards, honoring your personal achievements and dedication.
• Costume Contest: Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing up in your most creative, Thanksgiving-themed costume. Contestants will win the coveted "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack.
• Family Fun: Join us for a day of running, celebration, and community at the Turkey Shuffle. It’s a chance to create lasting memories with family and friends.

🏅 Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteer then Run: Includes a custom chip timed bib, super soft tee, and an awesome finisher medal!
• Course Monitor: Placed along the course for participant safety, cheering on runners.
• Water Station: Ensure water cups are filled and ready for participants while cheering them on.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with general finish line tasks and celebrate runners' achievements.

🗓️ Event Schedule

7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
8:55am: Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line)
9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

🌤️ Weather & Other Information

• Rain or Shine: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Always offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Course Surface: Expect a mix of paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
