This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This event is for our little Yeti's and is typically about a 50 meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under. This is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chipped timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers.
• 10K: Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall Bigfoot trophies for male and female finishers.

Event Features

• DJ Sasquatch: Will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you’re motivated and pumped throughout your run.
• Awards: Every runner will be celebrated with recognition and age group awards, honoring your personal achievements and dedication.
• Costume Contest: Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing up in your most creative, Thanksgiving-themed costume for a chance to win prizes.
• Finisher Medals: All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.

Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:55am: Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line)
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Awards: Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

Volunteer Opportunities

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Sign up under the "VOLUNTEER" tab on the top menu. Here are some of the volunteer roles available:

• Course Monitor: Placed along the course route to ensure participant safety.
• Water Station: Make sure there are water cups filled and ready for participants.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist the Race Director with general finish line tasks.
• Packet Pickup: Interact with participants and share in their joy when they are presented their awards.

Rain or Shine
