2024 St Benedict's Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 19th, 2024
• Location: St. Benedict's, Smyrna, GA
• Race Types: 13th Annual One Mile Fun Run and Tot Trot
• Details: Chipped bibs for all participants, staggered start, awards for top finishers

🎉 Who Can Participate?

• Students: Calling all St Benedict's students preschool through 8th grade
• Tot Trot: Preschoolers will run the 100 yard Tot Trot
• 1 Mile Race: K-8th students, staff, parents, and alumni
• Siblings: Siblings of St. B’s students are welcome to register

📅 Registration Information

• Participants: Open to all St. B’s students and their siblings (preschool-8th grade)
• Parents: Must register to escort young runners on the 1 mile course
• 1 Mile Race: Open to parents, teachers/staff, and alumni
• Deadline: Register by October 3rd to guarantee t-shirt size

👕 T-Shirt Details

• Availability: All registrants receive a cool tie-dye race t-shirt
• Spirit Days: T-shirts can be worn to school the Friday before race day
• Still Want a Shirt? Register for T-Shirt Only option if unable to participate
• Guarantee Size: Register by October 3rd

🏆 Race Course and Awards

• Location: Race will take place on campus and surrounding streets
• Safety: Monitored by police officers and volunteers
• Medals: Official race medals for all participants
• Awards: Certificates for top finishers in each grade, including non-students

• Support: Parents, grandparents, and friends can volunteer

🕒 Race Day Schedule

• Time: 7:30-8:30 AM: Bib Pickup and Day of Race Registrations
• Start: 9:00 AM: Races Start - Tot Trot followed by 1 Mile
• Awards: 9:45 AM Awards Ceremony
• Note: Finish by 9:30 AM to accommodate Saturday sports
