Winnetka Turkey Trot 2024

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Date: 2024-11-28
• Location: 754 Elm St, Winnetka, IL
• Race Details: The Annual Winnetka Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving morning! The Race will sell out. It is a Rolling Start so that everyone has space to trot!
• Divisions: Speedy at 8:00am, 8:30am & Family Division at 9:00 am

📍 Race Course

• Starting & Finishing Point: The course starts and finishes on the Green Bay trail at the Winnetka Train Station located at 754 Elm Street 60093.
• Charity: Our charity is the Wings Organization for women and children.

🗓️ Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Everyone is Required to Pick Up Packets. Friends can pick up friends' packets. Please email us for large groups.
• Special Pickup: If you need your packets on 26th or 27th, email Colleen for arrangement.
• Road Runner Sports Trot Special: Join the VIP Family for $20 off your order of $50 or more during packet pickup hours. Exclusions may apply.

• Sunday, Nov 24: 10:15 AM – 4:00 PM – Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports, 3232 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, IL 60091
• Wednesday, Nov 27: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports, 3232 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, IL 60091
• Thursday, Nov 28: Race Day Registration: Cash or Check only. Shirts not guaranteed on race day.

🚦 Race Day Schedule

• 7:15 AM: Race Day Registration
• 8:00 AM: 1st Wave Fast Runners
• 8:30 AM: 2nd Wave
• 9:00 AM: 3rd Wave for Family Division/Walkers

🌊 Water Stations

• Water Availability: Due to congestion on the course, there will be no Water Station. Post-race water will be at the finish line.
• Awards: No awards, but all kids receive a #1 medal.

💵 Registration Fees

• Kid's Registration: 18 years and younger flat rate $20
• Adult Registration: $25 thru September 5, $30 thru Oct 5 - Nov 1, $35, $40 thru Race Day

📍 Location & Post-Race

• Location: On the Green Bay Trail at Winnetka Train Station 754 Elm St, Winnetka, IL 60093. We will be on the West side of the building.
• Post-Race Food: Water, Gogo Squeez, and granola bars will be provided.

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities

• Roles Needed: Course Marshal, Water Station, Packet Pick up on race day!

☔ Weather Policy

• Event Status: The event will go on rain, shine or snow, with no cancellations.
• Communication: In case of severe weather, registered athletes will be notified via email, social media, and at the event.

• Parking Options: Public Lots and street parking available.

🔄 Refund Policy

• Refund Status: No Refunds.
• Course Changes: Carpe Diem Races and Municipality have the right to change the course.
