Event Overview
Primos Dallas is hosting our 3rd Annual Run the Grove 5K on Saturday, April 18, 2026! Our mentoring program serves families in the southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove and we are excited to bring a certified 5K race with official timing to the neighborhood. We will also have a Fun Run course, and family friendly activities, including free food, music, face painting, and games.
Fundraising Purpose
Join us to raise scholarship funds for high school and college students. Since 2018, Primos has awarded $105,000 in scholarships. We aim to alleviate the burden of post high school educational costs for first generation students.
5K Details
- Type: Timed and competitive
- Trail: Paved trail
- Start Time: Begins at 8am
Inclusions for 5K Participants
- T-shirt: a Run the Grove t-shirt (while supplies last)
- Medal: a completion medal upon completion
- Meal: a free meal after the race
- Refreshments: unlimited water and snacks
- Results: immediate race results
- Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to 1st place, 2nd, and 3rd in every age/sex category
