Looking to walk/run the most unusual course in the world? You’ll discover it on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 at Discovery Park of America.

🌳 Course Features

• Unique Route: The route meanders through a 50-acre heritage park.
• Attractions: Features a man-made river, waterfalls, bridges, and a vintage train station.
• Historical Sites: Dash by a 120-year-old church and an 1800s frontier settlement.
• Scenic Views: Enjoy extensively landscaped property throughout your run.

• Check-In: Dynamic race day check-in process.
• Entertainment: Pre-race entertainment to keep you energized.
• Finish Line: Dramatic inflatable archway at the finish line.
• Awards: Finisher’s certificates and winner’s medals up for grabs.

🏅 Awards Categories

Awards are presented in the 5K and 10K for males and females in the following age categories:

• 12 and under: Young participants.
• 13-19: Teens competing.
• 20-29: Young adults.
• 30 and over: Various age groups up to 70 and over.

📅 2025 Schedule

• 6:30-7:45 a.m.: Registration.
• 8:00 a.m.: 10K begins.
• 8:30 a.m.: 5K begins.
• 9:00 a.m.: 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run begins.
• 9:30 a.m.: Awards Ceremony.

💲 Registration Information

Registration for the 5K and 1-mile fun run prior to July 31 is $25 and includes a Discovery Dash T-shirt and two free admission tickets to Discovery Park for the day. Beginning August 1, the registration fee will be increased to $30 dollars, and race T-shirts will be available only while supplies last. Registration for the 10K prior to July 31 is $30 and includes a Discovery Dash T-shirt and two free admission tickets to Discovery Park for the day. Beginning August 1, the registration fee will be increased to $35 dollars, and race T-shirts will be available only while supplies last.
