Discovery Dash 5K/10K and 1 Mile Fun Run

🌟 Important Update

Due to hazardous weather conditions expected early Saturday, Sept. 14, the Discovery Dash is postponed to Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. Your safety is our top priority, and we believe this will provide a better race experience for everyone.

🌳 Race Setting

• Course Features: Scenic 50-acre heritage park with waterfalls, bridges, and landmarks.
• Special Attraction: The 1800s Settlement transformed into Pumpkin Village.
• Unique Structures: Run by an old church, a frontier settlement, a 19th-century town, and a vintage train station.
• Finish Line Experience: Inflatable archway, finisher’s certificates, and winner’s medals.

🏆 Awards Categories

• Age Categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

🗓️ 2024 Schedule

• 6:30-7:45 a.m. – Registration
• 8 a.m. – 10K begins
• 8:30 a.m. – 5K begins
• 9:00 a.m. - 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run begins
• 9:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

💲 Registration & Fees

• Early Registration: $25 for 5K and 1-mile fun run ($30 for 10K) before July 31 includes a T-shirt and 2 free park tickets.
• Late Registration: After August 1, fees increase to $30 for 5K and 1-mile fun run ($35 for 10K), T-shirts while supplies last.
