Fast and the Furriest 5K Turkey Trot

WHERE AND WHEN

• Date: Thanksgiving Morning, Thursday November 26, 2026
• Time: 8:30 am
• Location: Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226.

COURSE

• 5k Run & 5k Walk: The race will be run on the Ocean City Boardwalk beginning at the Music Pier and proceeding south to 23rd Street to the turnaround. Runners will then head north to the Music Pier to the finish.
• 1M Kids Fun Run: will be one loop from the Music Pier to 5th Street and back.

SWAG

• Race T-shirt: to pre-registered athletes while supplies last.

ITINERARY

Wednesday

• 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm: In-person Registration & Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up at OC Senior Center, 1735 Simpson Ave # 5, Ocean City, NJ 08226.

Thursday

• 7:00 am: In-person Registration & Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up at Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226.
• 8:30 am: 5k Run & 5k Walk Start. The 1M Kids Fun Run will be held at the conclusion of the 5k Run & 5k Walk.

AWARDS

5k Run

• Overall: Top 3 Male & Female
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female for age categories 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, & others up to 90 & Over.

1M Kids Fun Run

• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female for age categories 6 & Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• No Dogs: Ocean City ordinances prohibit dogs on the Boardwalk at any time. Please leave your pet at home.
• Refreshments: will be provided at the end of the race.
• Results: will be available on website.
• No Confirmation: No confirmation will be sent, verify entry here.
• Scoring: Race scored by DQ Events.
• Weather: All events will be held rain or shine.
• Promoter Rights: Event promoters have the right to alter or cancel events for any reason.
