The Tim Kennard River Run returns March 2, 2025!

Salisbury Bible Fellowship (1500 Court Plaza Ln) has again kindly provided their support and their facility for the race start and finish. They are located right on the course and are committing to making race day a day of service for their church!

🤝 Proceeds Benefit

This run/walk is in his honor, with proceeds going, as Tim requested, to help children and animals. This year the proceeds will help the following:

• Team 360: provides motivation and support to people of different abilities, empowering and enabling them to train and participate in mainstream athletic events.
• Coalition of Caring: helps our animal friends in need by assisting with medical needs adoption, spay, and neuter costs, as well as by helping cover the cost of transporting homeless animals to rescues.
• Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund

• RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
• RACE AMENITIES: Long Sleeve T-Shirts, a beautiful course, nice awards, great after-party post-celebration.
• PARKING: Plenty of parking in the start/finish area of Salisbury Bible Fellowship Church

⏳ New Time Limit

• 10 MILE TIME LIMIT:(2:30 Time Limit for Ten Miler)...15 MINUTES PER MILE PACE. The Race Committee has incorporated a two hour & thirty minute time limit for the 10 mile race. This time limit of 15 minute per mile is very reasonable for a running event. Please be mindful that the 10 miler is not a walk event and if you want to walk, please enter the 5k division.

🏆 Awards

• Custom Awards: will be presented to the male & female overall, master, and the top three finishers in the following 15 age groups for the 5k event and 13 age groups for the 10-mile event. No awards for the non-competitive 5k walk.
• Cash Awards: Overall 10 mile…1st- $200, 2nd- $150, 3rd- $100: Overall 5k…1st- $150, 2nd- $100, 3rd- $50: Master(40-59) 10 mile…$50: Grand Masters (60+)…$50

💧 Water Stop Information

• Water Stops: every 2 miles throughout the 10 miler and 1 water stop in the 5k event. Plenty of water at the start & finish.

🚨 Race Note

To ensure runner safety, unregistered runners, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, baby joggers, and dogs are strictly prohibited on the 10 mile course. The 5K run/walk will allow baby joggers and well-behaved canines.
