Race Overview
Come join us for this year's Fischang-Cicchetti Memorial Road Race - a 5-mile and 5K pre-Thanksgiving Sunday-morning classic favorite of runners all over Connecticut, taking over the streets of Waterbury.
Event Details
- Date: November 23, 2025
- Location: 136 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT
- Distances: 5-mile and 5K options
- Registration: Please register online, and register early!
T-Shirts and Packet Pickup
- T-Shirts: The first 200 registrants will receive short sleeve t-shirts.
- Packet Pickup: Strongly recommended at the Front Desk of the Greater Waterbury YMCA on:
- Friday November 21 from 5-7pm
- Saturday November 22 from 11am-3pm
Race Day Information
- Check-In: Available on race morning for those who cannot pick up on Friday or Saturday.
- Start Waves: No start waves this year, line up according to speed.
- Course Map: CLICK HERE to view this year's course map.
- 5K Route: Runners will have a turnaround along the same route.
Awards and Recognition
- Awards: Top 3 male & female overall, and top 3 male & female in each division.
- No Cash Prizes: Awards are for the 5K and 5 Mile.
- Presentation: Awards will be presented after the race.
- Anniversary: 51st consecutive running of the Fischang-Cicchetti Memorial Road Race!
Additional Information
- Fees: Registration fees are non-refundable.
- Weather Policy: The race will be held rain, shine, or snow as it has been for the past 50 years!
- Race-Day Registration: Available but early registration is greatly appreciated.
