Come join us for this year's 50th Fischang-Cicchetti Memorial Road Race - a 5-mile and 5K pre-Thanksgiving Sunday-morning classic favorite of runners all over Connecticut, taking over the streets of Waterbury for the 50TH YEAR!!!

• Date: November 24, 2024
• Location: 136 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT
• Distances: 5-mile and 5K options
• Registration: Please register online, and register early!

📦 Packet Pickup

Pre-race packet pick-up will be strongly recommended and can be done at the Front Desk of the Greater Waterbury YMCA on Friday November 22 from 5-7pm or Saturday November 23 from 11am-3pm. Race morning check-in will be available for those who are unable to pick up on Friday or Saturday.

🏁 Race Day Information

• Start Waves: We will not be assigning start waves this year.
• Line-up: We encourage you to line up according to speed, with faster runners towards the front.
• Course Map: CLICK HERE to view this year's course map.
• 5K Route: 5K runners will have a turnaround along the same route.

🏆 Awards

There will be awards for top 3 male & female overall, and top 3 male & female in each division (no cash prizes this year) for the 5K and the 5 Mile, presented after the race.

We hope to see you on November 24, 2024 for the 50th consecutive running of the Fischang-Cicchetti Memorial Road Race! Registration fees are non-refundable. The race will be held rain, shine, or snow as it has been for the past 49 years! Race-day registration will be available but it is very much appreciated if you register in advance.
