This is the sixth annual "Run For Her Life" virtual/in-person 5K, Half-Marathon, and Kid's Fun Run!

About The Phoenix Phase Initiative

• Mission: The Phoenix Phase Initiative is an Iowa-based 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping women who have been sexually trafficked around the world.
• Support: These women are rarely given a chance to escape and, when they do get the chance, they RUN for it!
• Resources: The Phoenix Phase Initiative provides a place to run to where they can be accepted, receive counseling, and learn job skills.

Race Details

• Date: April 25, 2026
• Location: 403 W 4th St N, Newton, IA
• Offering: The in-person race will have LIVE MUSIC, a FREE beer from Gezellig Brewing Company (or craft soda), and a food truck.
• Shirt Guarantee: To be guaranteed a shirt the day of the run, PLEASE sign up by April 6, 2026.

Registration Notes

• After Deadline: Runners/walkers who sign up after April 6, 2026 WILL receive a shirt, but it will likely NOT be available the day before or the day of the race!
• Distribution: They will be made after April 25 and distributed as soon as possible.

Course Information

• Open Course: This will be an open course.
• Safety: There will be police presence and volunteers directing traffic at the major intersections.
• Traffic Laws: Please follow all traffic laws!
