Snowman Scram 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.

Date and Time

• Date: February 14th, 2026
• 1 Mile Fun Run: Starts at 11:00 AM
• 5K Run/Walk: To follow the 1 Mile Fun Run

Location

Start and finish by the bus barn/track at the school.

Entry Fees

• 1 Mile Fun Run: $25.00
• 5K Run/Walk: $35.00

Packet Pick Up

• Location: In the lobby of the school
• Warm Up: You can also use the gym to warm up!
• Same Day Registration: Begins at 9:30 AM
• Registration Deadline: All runners must be registered by 10:30 AM

Race Amenities

• Water: Available at the finish
• Refreshments: Available in the cafeteria after the race
• Live Music: By Canopy Space while we wait for race results
• Virtual Option: All 5K virtual runners will receive a tech long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal

Additional Information

• Chip Timing: Results will be very quick!
• Course: Flat and all on paved roads
• T-shirt: A LONG SLEEVE TECH T-shirt is included with all pre-registered participants (by February 1st)
• Finishers Medals: For all 1 mile fun runners (only guaranteed with pre-registration by February 1st)

Awards and Prizes

• No Refunds: For cancellations due to weather
• Categories: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in age categories
• Trophies: For overall male and female winners, male and female masters (40+), and new this year for 70 and over!
• Special Awards: Trophies for the oldest and youngest 5K finisher: trophy for the finisher in the middle of the pack in the 5K race
