Event Overview

• Purpose: The Queen City 5K helps provide support for kids in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
• Milestone: Last year marked our 10th 5K fundraiser race.
• Funding: It is the beginning of another financial stream to better our kids’ futures.
• Community Involvement: Our sponsors and partners will continue to provide programs, resources, and scholarships.

Course Details

• Start Location: The course starts near Paul Brown Stadium.
• Length: The race continues down the river.
• Landmarks: The route passes Smale Park, Great American Ball Park, and Heritage Bank Arena.

Beneficiary

• Foundation: Raising money for the foundation helps give assistance, aid, scholarships, and programming.
• Target Group: Benefiting the Queen City Foundation kids.

Divisions

• Run Divisions: Men & Women: 18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
• Walk Divisions: Men & Women: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

Awards

• CATEGORIES: Top Male and Female Runners and Walkers.
• Age Group Awards: First place in each division.
• Ceremony: Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

Event Partnership

• Collaboration: This year the 5K will be part of Vibe Cincinnati's Music Fest Weekend.
• Location: Aimed for downtown so that all out-of-town runners can easily reach the race.
• Entertainment: There will be entertainment during and after the race.

Timing and Registration

• Chip Timing: Race will be accurately "chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology.
• Early Registration: $25 until May 5th, 2025.
• Post-Deadline Registration: $40 after May 5th, 2025: Same Day Registration $45.

Packet Pickup and Check-in

• Early Packet Pickup: July 24th, 2026 at Fleet Feet Oakley from 10am - 6pm.
• Race Day Check-in: Starts 1 hour before race start time at the venue.
• Email Confirmation: Entries with valid email addresses will receive pre-race confirmation of entry.
