Race Description

• Purpose: The Queen City 5K helps provide support for kids in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
• Significance: Last year marked our 10th 5K fundraiser race, the beginning of another financial stream for children's futures.
• Support: Programs, resources, and scholarships for grade school kids to seniors on their way to college.

Course Details

• Starting Point: Near Paul Brown Stadium.
• Route: Continues down the river and along Smale Park.
• Landmarks: Passes Great American Ball Park and Heritage Bank Arena.

Benefit

• Goal: Raising money for assistance, scholarships, and programming for Queen City Foundation kids.

Run Divisions

• Categories: 18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Walk Divisions

• Categories: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
• If you intend to run any part of the course, sign up as a runner.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Top Male and Female Runners, Top Male and Female Walkers.
• Age Group Awards: First place in each division.

Awards Ceremony

• Time: Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

Partnership with Vibe Cincinnati

• Event: Part of Vibe Cincinnati's Music Fest Weekend.
• Location: Downtown, ensuring accessibility for out-of-town runners.
• Entertainment: There will be activities during and after the race.

Chip Timing

• Technology: "Chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology.
• Convenience: No need to return chips after the race.

Registration Fees

• Early Bird Registration: $15 until March 31st.
• Early Registration: April 1 - May 3 - $25.
• Regular Registration: May 4 until race day - $35.
• Race Day Registration: $40.

Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Friday, July 24th, 2026.
• Location: Fleet Feet Oakley, 3235 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45209.
• Time: 10 am - 6 pm.
• Discount: 20% off apparel for race participants during packet pick-up.

Race Day Check-in

• Start Time: 1 hour before race start time at the venue.
