CrackedBell Classic THE JV & OPEN

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

We have wanted to produce an open cross country event for a long time. With District 1 no longer holding a JV race at the District championship races we are adding boys and girls JV races on Saturday afternoon, October 25, 2025.

🏞️ Course Details

• Type: Two-loop flat, fast, spectator friendly course that is a modified version of the course used for the old John Sharp Viking Invitational.
• Features: A challenging little downhill-uphill rise experienced twice, with potential water at the bottom if wet.
• Location: Starts and finishes in Northampton Township and runs in and out of Tyler State Park, improving the course layout by avoiding Richboro-Newtown Road.
• Impact: Plans to purchase trail cutting equipment for the park with proceeds from this event.

📅 Race Schedule

• OPEN RACE: 3:45 PM
• HIGH SCHOOL AGED GIRLS RACE: 4:30 PM
• HIGH SCHOOL AGED BOYS: 5:15 PM
• Awards: To the top 25 finishers and top three club teams in each gender for high school aged races.

💰 Entry Fees

• Registration: $9 per student athlete and $20 for the Open Race.
• Race Day Fees: High school aged races will be $20, and Open Race will be $30.
• T-shirts: Available to pre-order in the open race and to those JV athletes preregistered by October 17, 2025.
• Budget: Fees go towards sanctioning, officials, park permits, timing, awards, JV shirts, portable toilets, and other expenses: based on 250 total participants.
