🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

RACE CANCELLED FOR 2024 DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST,

BUT WE'LL PLAN ON IT FOR NEXT YEAR NOW!

After conversations at meets this past weekend, and Dave Marrington’s desire to step away from producing a JV meet the day after the District One meet, we are planning races on Saturday afternoon, October 26, 2024.

📍 Course Details

• Location: The course starts and finishes in Northampton Township and runs in and out of Tyler State Park.
• Course Type: Two-loop course that is a modified version of the old John Sharp Viking Invitational.
• Terrain: Fairly flat with a challenging little downhill-uphill rise experienced twice.
• Weather Note: Should the weather be wet, there may even be water at the bottom.

🕒 Race Schedule

• Open Race: 3:45 PM
• High School Aged Girls Race: 4:30 PM
• High School Aged Boys Race: 5:15 PM
• Awards: Top 25 finishers and top three club teams in each gender.

💰 Registration Fees

• Individual Fees: $9 per student athlete and $17.50 for the Open Race.
• Early Bird Rates: $12.50 and $20 respectively until October 18, 2024.
• Last Minute Rates: $15 and $25 respectively until October 25, 2024.
• Race Day Fees: High school aged race will be $20 and Open Race will be $30.

• T-shirts: Available for preorder on the registration page.
• Entry Fees Usage: Fees go towards Sanctioning, Park Permits and Fees, Timing, Awards, Portable Toilets, and other expenses.
• Budget Based On: We are basing our budget on 250 total participants.
• Group Savings: RunSignup's processing fees are based on the total cart amount, not per person, meaning groups and families who register together can save money.
