Beneficiaries

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be contributed to the following:

• Wayne A. Burlison Memorial Scholarship: Established in 2014 by Wayne’s wife and son, administered by the Albion Alumni Foundation.
• Orleans Community Health Foundation: Committed to enhancing local healthcare, the Foundation will use the funds to make colonoscopies more accessible and affordable to patients. More information can be found here.

Race Course

The race path takes the runners into the Mt. Albion Cemetery, with rolling terrain and beautiful scenery. The historic Mt. Albion Cemetery is a rural cemetery established in the 1840s on a glacial drumlin. In 1976 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district. As you run, you will pass Wayne's site, energetic volunteers to cheer you on, and an amply supplied water station.

Participation Options

If you are not up for a run, we would still love to have you join us for the walk on our 5K course. The 10K course is two loops, with the turnaround just before Clarendon Road. Course map can be found here.
