One Drop's Walk for Water

💧 Event Overview

We are bringing back One Drop's Walk for Water! One Drop Foundation will be hosting the 8th annual 2.1 mile Walk for Water at the Springs Preserve on November 9th. We hope you will join us to raise funds and awareness for water issues locally and globally. It will be a fun filled morning!

📅 Event Details and Schedule

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2024

LOCATION: The Walk for Water will be held at the Springs Preserve located at:

333 S. Valley View Blvd.
Las Vegas, NV 89107

🚗 Parking Info

PARKING: Free parking is available on site. We are excited to have so many participants this year! We encourage you and your group to carpool as parking may fill up quickly and you might need to park in designated off-site overflow lots.

🕒 Arrival Instructions

• Arrival: When you arrive, head towards the amphitheater - volunteers will direct you.
• Belongings: Please bring only what you are able to carry. There will not be any place to store belongings.
• Meeting Spot: Be sure to communicate with your team about a designated meeting spot. Our volunteers will not know where each team is as everyone will look similar in their t-shirts.
• Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
• Pets: While we love pets, please know animals are not allowed at the Springs Preserve unless they are a service animal.

⏰ Event Timeline

• 7:00 – 7:30am:
• Registration: Registration and group check-in - beyond main entrance.
• Recreational Time: Meet up with your team, take group photos, play games, check out the photo booth, get your face painted, and more!
• Bucket Challenge: Pick-up your bucket - join the optional bucket challenge and carry a bucket filled with water from the start to finish of the walk to simulate the physically challenging as well as sometimes dangerous job millions of women and children have to do in developing countries.
• 7:30am: A welcome from Mayor Goodman, and Walk for Water Co-Chairs, Brian Kunec and Crystal Hirschi.
• 7:40am: Special performances and group warm up!
• 8:00am: Walk begins through the beautiful desert trails of the Springs Preserve. The walk will conclude at the amphitheater with family friendly games, bucket challenge results, dancing, entertainment, light refreshments and fun!
• 10:00am: Walk ends but feel free to stay and visit the WaterWorks Exhibit (free entry while wearing your Walk for Water t-shirt), enjoy a meal at Springs Café and/or walk the explore the grounds.
