The Orange Turkey Trot will take place on November 8, 2025, at 507 S Main St, Orange, MA. This 5k event offers the option to walk or run and will be professionally timed by the Tri-State Timing Company.

• Food Insecurity: Food insecurity is unfortunately a prevalent issue, not only in the state of Massachusetts but in our local community.
• Local Statistics: Data from The Greater Boston Food Bank in partnership with Mass General Brigham (2023), indicates that Western Massachusetts has the highest rate of food insecurity in the state.
• Community Effort: We hope that this holiday season our community can come together to tackle this issue.
• Key Club Involvement: The Mahar Key Club traditionally has collected food items and delivered meals within the town.

• Expanding Opportunities: Our team hopes to expand the opportunity to all community members while participating in what we hope to be a family fun event.
• Donations Use: Donations and proceeds from this event will be made to the local food pantries in the Orange/Athol area.
