👟 Run or Walk for a Great Experience!

From the 5K to the Marathon, you'll enjoy the scenic Hawthorne Trail and receive a wonderful finisher medal and a delicious gourmet cupcake. A shaded and smooth asphalt surface is both runner/walker friendly as well as suitable for strollers. This is an event the whole family can enjoy!

Shirts are racer back for women and tank tops for men.

📍 COURSE INFORMATION

• Certification: The half marathon and full marathon are USTF certified.
• Starting Point: The course starts at the East end of the Hawthorne Trail.
• Course Type: The course is out and back which means the marathoners run four laps and the half marathoners run two laps.

💧 HYDRATION

Due to the lack of volunteers, we will have to change the setup of the hydration system. Mile 1.4 will have 400 8oz bottles of water only (or more). The turn award for the 13 and 26.2 (3.275 mile) will only have Gatorade bottles. Along the loop at the start and finish, there will be 2 tables placed 50 yards apart with Gatorade in cups. One table will have water in cups.

• Overflow Parking: At the High School (21403 SE 69th Ave, Hawthorne, FL 32640).

🏅 AWARDS

Overall awards for 1st, 2nd, and third. Age group awards include: under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-39, and so on.

👕 SHIRTS

Shirts will be a racer back for females and a tank top for males. Shirts will not be guaranteed after 11/05/2023 (but, we may have extra, so list your shirt size).
